  • Minto 775 uses Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRV) to delivers fresh, filtered air to each room and circulates that fresh air throughout the home for improved air quality and comfort while reducing energy use
  • The buildings at both 775 King West and 78 Tecumseth were built with Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging rough-in and capacity to allow for future installation of EV chargers
  • An on-site car share scheme offers hybrid vehicles
  • Equipped high-efficiency heating systems reduce energy consumption and generating fewer green-house-gas (GHG) emissions than non-certified buildings
  • Cooling is achieved using  ozone friendly cooling systems
  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is monitored 24/7 in the high-traffic amenity areas
  • A cistern collects rainwater on rainy days and stores the water for appropriate use within the building (watering plants, washing outdoor surfaces, etc.)
  • Minto 775 has a Green Roof to help combat the Urban Heat Island effect and mitigate stormwater runoff
  • Efficient amenities reduce potable water use by 40% compared to standard Building Code requirements
  • ENERGY STAR® appliances are designed to use 30% less energy performing the same function as non-ENERGY STAR® appliances
  • Every floor is equipped with a sealed garbage chute room providing separate options for recycling, organics and non-recyclable waste
  • Dedicated, secure, bicycle storage is available for both residents and their visitors
  • Buyers and owners of both buildings may be eligible for many rebates and incentives by virtue of their LEED® Gold certification
  • Minto used low VOC paints, coatings, and adhesives to reduce the volume of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that people breathe in
  • Suites are metered individually for water and electricity so residents can track their use
